The Realtime Parent Portal will officially open on Friday, August 14th at 3:30 PM for the 2026–2027 school year.

As the summer kicks into gear and we prepare for an extended holiday weekend celebrating our 250th anniversary on July 4th, I wanted to take a brief moment to send a note of appreciation and to outline a few of the things our excellent administrative team will be working on for the start of the 2026-2027 school year.

Jefferson Township Public Schools is proud to recognize and honor our staff members retiring during the 2025–2026 academic year. Combined, these 20 dedicated professionals represent over 400 years of service to the students, families, and community of Jefferson Township.

The Jefferson Township Board of Education will hold a Special Meeting on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 7:30 PM at the JTHS Media Center. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the 2026-2027 budget. Action may be taken. The Board may convene to closed session.

Superintendent Jeanne Howe has been named the Morris County Superintendent of the Year by her peers. Recognized for her outstanding leadership, integrity, and fierce advocacy for fair state funding, Mrs. Howe continues to champion our students' education.

The Jefferson Township Board of Education will hold a Special Meeting on April 9, 2026 at 5:00 PM. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the tentative 2026-2027 budget. Action may be taken. The Board may convene to closed session.
This meeting will be held in the Jefferson Township High School Media Center, 1010 Weldon Road, Oak Ridge, NJ 07438.
