Principal's Message

Welcome to Jefferson Township Intermediate School

Jefferson Township Intermediate School, located between two scenic parklands in northwestern New Jersey, serves students in grades 4–8. With a strong academic foundation and a team-based approach, students receive instruction in core subjects from dedicated educators, along with engaging experiences in STEM, world languages, the arts, and a range of electives. Enrichment opportunities include service clubs, competition teams, and award-winning music programs. JTIS partners with community organizations to enhance student life and promote well-being. Comprehensive support services and a caring school culture ensure all students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally throughout their middle years.
